1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address
• Display name (optional)
• Password (hashed, never stored in plain text)

Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage statistics such as which features are used most frequently. We do not track individual trading activity or portfolio data.

Payment Information

We do not collect or store any payment card information. All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain your account
• To process subscriptions via Stripe
• To send service-related emails (account confirmation, password reset)
• To improve the App

We do not use your information for advertising or sell it to third parties.

3. Data Storage

Account data is stored on Supabase, a cloud database service. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Our database is hosted in secure data centers.

4. Data That Stays on Your Device

The following data never leaves your computer:

• Watchlists and layouts
• Theme preferences
• Chart settings and saved indicators
• Language preferences

5. Third-Party Data Access

The App is a client-side interface. When you use the App, your device connects directly to publicly available data sources using your own internet connection and IP address. Arion Terminal does not proxy, cache, or redistribute this data. The following types of services may be accessed by your device:

• Finnhub — stock quotes, company profiles, news
• Yahoo Finance — chart data, market data
• SEC EDGAR — financial filings, institutional holdings
• Translation services — for multi-language support (accessed directly by your device)
• Stripe — payment processing

These services have their own privacy policies and terms of use. All connections are made directly from your device using your IP address. Arion Terminal does not act as an intermediary, does not have access to these connections, and does not store or log any data retrieved by your device from these sources.

6. Cookies

The Arion Terminal desktop app does not use cookies. The arionterminal.com website uses minimal cookies:

• Authentication cookie — Stores your login session (essential, cannot be disabled)
• Preference cookie — Stores your language and theme choice

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking service.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data

9. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove all personal data within 30 days.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
